PHASE 1 Trail Construction

Construction of Phase 1 Began June 1, 2016 and was completed November of 2016. Following photos show the timeline of progress throughout the weeks leading to it's completion.

June 6th Pictures: Construction barricades up and work beginning.

June 8th Pictures: Shoulder work completed and prepping for curb.

July 1, 2016 Pictures : Curb complete. Guard rail up. Blacktop down. ( 8 foot wide trail will be on other side of guard rail)

JULY 21, 2016 : The wall is looking great! Thanks to the city workers!If your wondering on how the design ended up the way it is, just ask us.

The final design was not the 1st idea, BUT with the DNR, DOT, city, WRTO, and our engineer this was the final design to meet many needs of all those departments.

OCT 5, 2016:

The rain, storms, other City business, and overall timeframes of this project have pushed it back. BUT the trail is well under way and there is now a concrete path from town to the walnut street crossing!!
