Music Events
Each year, we host a live music event that’s fun for all ages and packed with a mix of musical flavors—from country and classic rock to small-town jams that get your boots tapping.
Past entertainers with local ties have included Bobby G. Rice, Dr. Rumley’s Snuff Band, Countryfied, and more—proof that Boscobel knows how to put on a show.
Taste of Boscobel
Taste of Boscobel is one of our favorite Wisconsin River Trail Organization events, bringing together local food, drinks, and live music for a night that supports the trail and celebrates the community.
Wisconsin River Trail Organization Annual Taste of Boscobel happens the 2nd Saturday in September annually.
Come to Boscobel and enjoy all the wines, brews, flavors, and musical notes of the area!

Chicken BBQ
Our Chicken BBQ is a favorite Wisconsin River Trail Organization event that brings great food and greater people together.
Welcome home to celebrate the 4th of July starting on July 3rd with WRTO’s Rooster Andy’s Famous Chicken BBQ in Kronshage Park in the heart of Boscobel.
Bike Safety
The Bike Safety Program is directed yearly by the Boscobel Hildebrand Library staff with assistance from the Boscobel city police department, WRTO, and amazing individual volunteers.

Annual WRTO Banquet
The Wisconsin River Trail Organization holds an annual banquet to raise funds for the ever expanding project. The monies raised during this one night event will be used to create a 20+ mile biking/hiking loop connecting Boscobel, Wauzeka, and Woodman areas.

Still smiling after Saturday.
Our first-ever WRTO Pickleball & Cornhole/Bags Tournament is in the books—and we just want to say thank you.
To everyone who signed up, showed up, helped out, or just came to hang out: you made this happen. It was fun, a little competitive, and totally community-centered—just the way we hoped it would be.
A few special thanks are in order:
– Don and Lisa Howell for jumping in to help us put on the Cornhole/Bags side of things (we would’ve been lost without you!)
– Marsha Jones for bringing the music and the good energy
– And every single volunteer who pitched in to make the day run smoothly
And of course—congrats to our winners!
Pickleball:
1st – Drew & Taylor Frey
2nd – Brent & Kathy Robinson
3rd – Chance & Gentry Zimpel
Cornhole:
1st – Don & Lisa Howell
2nd – Michael Laxton & Reg Hudson
3rd – Stewart Trumm & Gabe Davis
Thank you again for being part of this. It was a great turnout for our first time, and we’re already looking forward to the next one.
See someone you know here? Go ahead and tag them in the photos - we'd appreciate it!

We’ll be at the Boscobel Farmer’s Market on Saturday, August 23—catching up with neighbors, sharing what’s new, and talking trail.

🎤 Trail Update Presentation at 10:30 AM with Mike Reynolds & Denise Fisher
After the update, stick around for a friendly group bike ride through town—no sign-up, just show up and ride.
We’ll have breakfast sandwiches, brochures, WRTO and Bulldog doormats, and a chance to sign up for our Birthday Calendar—but more than anything, we’re here to connect.
We’ve had a lot of folks asking where things stand with the trail.
This is a chance to stop by, ask questions, and hear what’s ahead—straight from the people working on it.
Come grab a bite, share your thoughts, and say hello.
It’s your trail. Let’s talk about it.
