“No one has ever become poor by giving.”
-Anne Frank
Our annual banquet is a fundraising event that helps support the expansion of our trail project. The proceeds raised during this one night event will go towards the creation of a 26-mile biking and hiking loop that will pass through the charming small towns of Boscobel, Wauzeka, and Woodman.
Like the Ducks Unlimited Banquet-But BETTER!
Every year, this event gets bigger and better! A 100% donation sponsored event, we raise over $30,000 every. single. year. Why? Because there are so many one-of-a-kind items for Christmas giving for your families…or maybe even for you!
The Hike/Bike Banquet includes a silent, live, 50/50, and ROUNDS of ticket raffles. There are over 100 door prizes, and always includes an amazing meal! See our FB site for photos of past donations!
This years Hike Bike banquet will be held at Boscobel Bowl and Banquet on Saturday, November 11, 2023 and we’re expecting lots of great donations and good times!
Reservations are limited - a maximum of 200 tickets will be sold. You must be present to win and claim your prizes!

About the Trail
We plan to create another avenue for recreation and envision a healthier lifestyle for our community.
We want to capitalize on the natural resources in our area, share the beautiful bluffs and valleys of our Driftless region, and reinvent ourselves as a recreation destination to increase tourism and strengthen our local economy.
The community has come together to support our trail endeavors, and we look forward to meeting new friends along our path as we create a full 20+-mile loop over the next 10-15 years.
Make sure you follow our Facebook Page so you can keep up with all of our upcoming events, including the banquet!Phase One
The first phase was completed in 2016 and connects the Sanders Creek 2-mile walking/biking trail within the city of Boscobel, to our Von Haden Boat Landing, approximately 1 mile out of town.
Now all trail users are able to use the Wisconsin River Trail to walk or bike to the boat landing safely, view our natural habitat of eagles’ nests and turtle habitats as they travel, and more!
Phase Two
In this phase we’ll create a hiking/biking trail that leads from Boscobel toward Woodman.
It is economically and environmentally- friendly to parallel parts of the railroad tracks, 51 feet from the tracks, to minimize the need to clear land, and also, to widen easements that are not taxing to the landowners.
PhaseThree
Phase 3 will bring the trail from Wauzeka to Boscobel along the scenic path of Highway 60, which closely follows the beautiful Wisconsin River.
Get ready to enjoy even more breathtaking views and a seamless trail experience from start to finish!
Phase Four
The highlight of our trail will be a magnificent feat: a crossing over the Wisconsin River. This picturesque location features stunning country and river views, providing a unique opportunity to admire nature’s beauty that was previously only accessible by boat.
Get ready for a breathtaking experience on the Wisconsin River Trail!

Hi All! When Bobby G Rice came home last year to perform, a great person asked if we would consider putting up a sign that recognizes our country music legendary singer/songwriter as we are lucky enough to call him ours! I'm working on putting up a sign, which is not as easy as it sounds! WHEW! Anyway, I am going to start a fund to pay for the costs of the sign and wanted to let everyone know that. I need to get in touch with Community First Bank to start an account there for us and will try to accomplish this tomorrow. If you would be so kind as to consider a small (or large) donation, I'm hoping we can:
Have Bobby return home again to perform by his new sign.
Have this sign completed by the middle of June so we can celebrate him turning 80 this year (I believe...)!
Show him that we love him!
Give his lovely wife Alice a huge hug too!
Any thoughts you might have, please send me a message. Thank You and please, please SHARE! ... See MoreSee Less
